I've spent the past 15+ years writing Windows software, mostly in C++ and Delphi, for two fairly different worlds: nuclear physics research and small-business retail. At Samarkand State University, where I work as a programmer and scientific researcher, I build tools for gamma spectrometry and environmental radiation monitoring.
Outside of that, I take on freelance projects and build the occasional hobby tool, like a free point-of-sale system for small businesses in Uzbekistan. I hold a Master's degree in the physics of nuclear and elementary particles from Samarkand State University.
An open-source tool for analyzing gamma-ray spectra from NaI(Tl) detectors. It corrects for temperature-driven spectrum drift, handles peak detection using ROOT's TSpectrum, and utilizes a spectrum decomposition method. The underlying method is described in a peer-reviewed publication.
A free point-of-sale application built for small businesses in Uzbekistan. It handles sales and inventory, ESC/POS thermal receipt printing, and PDF invoice generation, packaged as a simple Windows installer.
